Pub and club carpet cleaning in Huddersfield.
Bar carpets, banquettes and bar stools deep-cleaned overnight — dry and ready before you unlock the doors.
Pub carpets take more abuse than almost any floor covering in Britain. Spilled ale, dropped food, mud off boots on a match day, decades of foot traffic in the same lines from door to bar. Left alone, the pile flattens, the colour goes flat and grey, and the room starts to smell before it starts to look dirty.
We have been cleaning licensed premises across Huddersfield and Kirklees since 1988 — free houses, tenanted pubs, working men's clubs, sports and social clubs, and managed estates. Barry Nuckley runs the commercial jobs himself with his own team, so the crew that quotes your bar is the crew that cleans it.
The work is done with van-mounted hot-water extraction, which pulls the soiling out of the carpet rather than pushing it around. Beer, spirits and food residues that a rotary bonnet just smears are lifted and extracted, which is why the smell goes as well as the stain.
From first call to floors back in use.

We look at the room first
A quick site visit or a few photos and measurements over the phone. We price the bar carpet, the banquette runs and the loose chairs separately so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
- 02
We book around your licence
Almost every pub job we do starts after last orders or early on a quiet morning. You tell us when the room is free; we work to that, not the other way round.
- 03
Pre-spray and agitation
Traffic lanes at the bar and the door, plus any specific spills, get a pre-spray and are agitated before extraction. This is the step that separates a proper clean from a wet vacuum.
- 04
Hot-water extraction
Van-mounted extraction through the whole carpet. Fixed seating and bar stools are cleaned with an upholstery hand-tool in the same visit so the room is done in one go.

Walkthrough before we leave
We walk the room with you or the duty manager before we pack up. If something is not right, we deal with it there and then rather than after we have driven off.
The guarantees, in plain English.
After-hours at no extra charge
Evening, overnight and early-morning slots are priced the same as a daytime job. We do not load the quote because you trade when other trades work.
Open before you open
Carpets are typically dry enough for service within 2–4 hours, and we bring drying fans where the room is tight on time. We plan the visit backwards from your opening time.
Fully insured, no subcontractors
Public liability cover in place and the same experienced crew every visit. Nothing is farmed out to a third party you have never met.
Satisfaction guarantee
If any area is not right when we walk the room together, we put it right before we leave the premises. That has been the deal for over 35 years.
What a proper clean looks like.

Everything you wanted to know.
Can you clean the bar carpet overnight?
Yes — overnight is our most common slot for pubs and clubs. We can start after last orders and be finished and off site well before your cleaner or cellar delivery arrives.
Will the carpet be dry before we open?
In almost all cases, yes. Hot-water extraction leaves carpets dry to the touch in roughly 2–4 hours, and we bring high-speed drying fans when the turnaround is tight.
Can you get beer and spirit smells out of the carpet?
Usually yes. Odour in a pub carpet is soiling that has soaked into the pile and often the underlay. Extraction removes it rather than masking it, and a deodorising treatment is included as standard. Where spillage has reached the underlay we will tell you honestly at the quote stage.
Do you clean the banquettes and stools at the same time?
Yes, and it is the sensible way to do it. Fixed and banquette seating is priced at £12.50/linear m, bucket chairs at £6 each and cloth chairs or bar stools at £4 each. Doing them on the same visit means one closure, not two.
How often should a pub carpet be cleaned?
For a busy wet-led pub, every 6–12 months. Food-led pubs and clubs with a function room often go annually. Regular cleaning is considerably cheaper than replacing a carpet that has been left too long.
Is there a minimum charge?
Commercial bookings have a minimum order value of £120 ex-VAT. For a full bar carpet or a run of banquette seating you will be well past that, but it is worth knowing if you only want a couple of chairs done.
