Tile floors look resilient, but grout lines are porous and absorb dirt, grease and bacteria from years of use. Regular mopping can't get inside the grout. Over time, light grout goes grey, then near-black, and the floor as a whole looks uncleaned even after mopping.
We use rotary scrubbing equipment with appropriate tile cleaning chemistry to break down the ingrained dirt on the tile surface and inside the grout lines. Hot-water rinse and extraction follows to pull the contamination out rather than spreading it further.
The result is a noticeably cleaner tile surface and dramatically clearer grout lines. For heavily stained grout, a separate grout-colour restoration service may be worth considering — we'll advise on site.

Will you damage the tiles?
No. We calibrate equipment and chemistry to the tile type. Natural stone tiles (like limestone) need a different approach from ceramic — see our stone floor service.
Can you restore grout colour?
We can clean grout significantly darker than it currently looks. Colour restoration (re-sealing or re-colouring) is a separate service — ask us about it when we visit.
What about wet rooms or shower floors?
Yes, we can clean wet room tiles. We'll need access to the space and ideally it should be dry before we start.
